Pack With Me For NYC

A trip to New York has long been on my bucket list and I’m super excited to be going there for the first time with my boyfriend next week. As soon as we booked the trip I couldn’t wait to get outfit planning and using Pinterest to create my mood board of NYC iconic aesthetic, delicious foodie inspo and of course cool street style.

I was in my element filming this vlog as I got to layout all of the clothes and accessories I want to take to New York, as well as try on some cute fall fits I had envisioned in my mind, before sorting them into my trusty packing cubes and slotting them into my suitcase. Needless to say, organising and planning makes me very happy indeed and when it comes to styling and having fun with fashion, NYC really is the perfect place for it. I hope this vlog inspires you for your own autumn wardrobe and gives you some useful tips for when it comes to packing for a city break. Next time I see you guys we’ll be in New York, so be sure to subscribe to see the NYC Diaries on my channel here soon ❤

Mallorca Diaries; Euro Summer Vibes

Earlier this month we jetted off for an early summer holiday to Mallorca with my family. Staying south of the island in the town of Port de Pollensa, we rented a villa altogether for the week.

It was a wonderful seven days soaking up the Spanish sun with my family and we had such fun making some beautiful memories together.

From cycling along the coast to the old town of Alcudia and canoeing off the beach at Port de Pollensa, to afternoons spent by the pool with the family at the villa and barbecuing at sunset, we certainly packed a lot into our week away.

One of my favourite days was the first afternoon we were all at the villa and we were in the pool for hours, laughing and listening to music, playing table tennis and finishing the evening with a delicious barbecue on the terrace at sundown.

Another highlight was visiting the beach at Formentor where the white sand and crystal clear turquoise waters are like paradise found, it was so dreamy.

We had many fabulous dinners and enjoyed some lovely food, so my next blog post will be my guide to the best restaurants in the area of Port de Pollensa.

I also vlogged the trip and have just released the first part on my YouTube channel which you can watch here.

I loved reliving the week again whilst editing this vlog and I’m so glad to have captured such special memories on film ❤

Bank Holiday Weekend; Springtime Vibes

Come along with me for a weekend in my life over the early May day bank holiday as I lap up the early signs of summer and embrace all the springtime feels. I show you my favourite local pub for Friday drinks complete with the most stunning English countryside sunset, before hosting a Saturday dinner party for which I cook up the most delicious linguine Bolognese using my mum’s secret recipe.

Travelling Business Class; Is It Worth Upgrading?

Having never flown Business Class before, this was my first experience and I was very impressed. Emirates are renowned for being one of the best airlines to fly Business with and I can see why, my overall experience was 10/10. Flying long-haul from Singapore to London, our journey had two legs so I had the pleasure of trying two different planes. It was clear upon boarding the second aircraft with its plush white leather seats that it was a newer one, but aside from the more aesthetic interior, everything was equally excellent on both planes. From the friendly and attentive staff providing 5* service and delicious food for all tastes, to the cosy private pods with fully reclinable chairs making a bed so we could sleep comfortably and land feeling rested and refreshed. Not forgetting the glamorous on board lounge bar serving an extensive option of classic cocktails and drinks.

I appreciate travelling Business is a luxury, but with my insurance company offering to pay this for me given my legs still healing from the dog bites, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to make the most of it. I have to admit that for a long haul journey which can be very uncomfortable in economy, this was a treat and something I would consider again if the cost to upgrade isn’t too pricey. Top tip, enquire for an upgrade at the desk upon checkin for your flight as sometimes special offers can make it far cheaper to purchase it on the day, as opposed to getting the Business Class ticket at full price in advance.

Farewell Bali; The Final Chapter

It was always going to be a tough farewell to our dream life in Bali after two months living in pure paradise. However the unexpected horror that unfolded in our final week when I was attacked and bitten by a pack of dogs, was something I never imagined might happen to us on our favourite beach in Canggu. One minute we were strolling by the shore at sunset, the next a huge pack of stray dogs were running and barking at us before proceeding to bite my legs. Thankfully I got away from a terrifying situation which could’ve got a lot worse, but I was left with very painful wounds and unable to walk properly for our final few days in Bali.

Nonetheless, I didn’t let that spoil the many wonderful memories we had already made and decided to embrace a more slow pace, relaxing final weekend soaking up stunning sunsets and savouring the most delicious food back at our favourite cafes, restaurants and beach clubs one final time. And whilst this wasn’t the fairytale ending to our perfect time living in Bali, I’m so grateful for my healthy body which has kept me strong, fought diseases and heeled my wounds like magic. My New iPhone 16 Pro

After almost four years with my trusty iPhone 12 Mini, I’ve finally upgraded to the newest iPhone model and this time I’ve gone pro. With the amount I use my iPhone for photos and filming I opted for the 16 Pro instead of investing in a new camera.

So come along as I setup my new fancy iPhone, get to grips with the upgraded features and most importantly test the highly rated camera including cinematic mode, slow motion, portrait mode and incredible HD & 4K quality. This is really going to up my photography and filming content game!
