With my Birthday just around the corner and the weather hotting up here in Sydney, it was time to order in some new pieces for my wardrobe. Using up a 20 pound gift card for ASOS, I shopped the sale and purchased 2 dresses and a ring – bargain! I then spent about 100 dollars on SheIn.com where I also found some excellent jewellery and accessories to change up my style.
One of my favourite pieces is the shell anklet which I had been looking for to wear day-to-day during summer. Also pictured here are the selection of rings, a gold choker, twisted detail earrings and scarf headband all from SheIn.com.
Not that I need yet another pair of sunnies, but I couldn’t resist these quirky cat eye tortoiseshell ones ideal for sunning on the beach.
This flamingo storage holder was also another great little find and has come in handy for keeping my jewellery organised. I may re-order more of these useful decrotive storage baskets for tidying away bits and bobs like makeup and hair clips.
On the search for a floral bikini to add to my collection, I chose this stunning rose print ruffle two piece with flattering ruched bottoms.
Sticking to muted tones, I bought a peppermint green oversized flannel shirt and white lace babydoll cami, both loose and airy for throwing on with smart trousers for work or with denim shorts on the weekend.
Contrary to my usual colour palette, I then went for a pink stripe ruffle mini dress which would be paired perfectly with my straw boat hat. Finally I picked up this tie-dye blue maxi dress from ASOS; a flattering fit with asymmetric cut hemline and completely backless, this may well be the birthday dress I’ve been looking for to take me from daytime on the beach, to partying the night away on Australia Day ❤
